Growing up in a small town in Idaho, Sharon was raised in a home filled with music, faith, and patriotism. Her early years as a singer with her sisters showed her the power of storytelling through music, but it was her love of literature that led her toward writing. Life, however, had other plans—raising six children and running a farm with her husband meant putting her writing aspirations on hold.
